Christmas Day a Month Late !!
 Byron Way was turned into a winter wonderland this week after freezing conditions finally delivered what many of us expected a month ago on Christmas day, snow flurries, and the estate woke up on Wednesday to find a dusting which gradually turned into setting snow.
With many roads blocked, bringing trafic to a sudden stand still, many schools were forced to close due to the harsh wintry conditions and not surprisingly, giving the children in and around the Capital a golden opportunity to introduce themselves to this oldest mother nature fun phenomena in the book.
The heavy fall, combined with Arctic conditions, has been reported to have brought many problems to the snow-battered residents across the South East but Byron Way looked relaxed and rather in tune with this long awaited presentation of nature.

 After much hard work and anticipation, the Byron Way Community Website is finally getting off the ground and ready for the big day. The very first of its kind in the UK, what started only as a simple communication tool, has grown into a powerful fully featured Internet presence on the web, incorporating many functions only found on multi million e-commerce initiatives or corporate websites. Many thanks to Generic IT for their work and particularly Ash for his creative work and technical support through the stages and many sleepless nights.
